Sometimes words aren’t enough.

Cry, Then Dance is a gathering for people who are carrying something and want somewhere to put it down.

We begin in a sharing circle, where you have the opportunity to be heard without needing to explain, fix, or perform.

Then we move.

Freestyle. No choreography. No dance experience required. Just music, your body, and permission to let whatever is there move through you.

We end by slowing down, resting, and returning to ourselves and one another.

Come as you are.
Bring what you’re carrying.
You don’t have to carry it alone.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Arrive + settle in
A soft landing into the room and the people in it.

Sharing circle
A chance to speak, listen, and be witnessed. Sharing is always optional.

Gentle warm-up
A few yoga-inspired poses and simple movements to arrive in your body and prepare to move.

Freestyle movement
No choreography. No right way to move. Just an invitation to follow your body.

Rest + integration
Time to breathe, settle, and notice what’s shifted.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

“Women who are strangers coming together simply for themselves.”
“I look forward to going again because I know it will be a completely different experience.”
“There is a great healing power that occurs when we are witnessed in our grieving, as well as witnessing what another carries.”

YOU DON’T HAVE TO KNOW WHAT YOU NEED.
You just have to show up.
